Prof. Jörg Kleine-Tebbe

Prof. Jörg Kleine-Tebbe, MD, is an allergist and dermatologist at the Allergy and Asthma Center Westend multi-disciplinary private practice and clinical research centre, Berlin, Germany.

He attended Medical School in 1977 at Freie Universität, Berlin, and later completed specialist allergy training in 1986 at the Asthma Out Patient Clinic and Department of Clinical Immunology at Freie Universität, Berlin. He subsequently acted as Visiting Instructor in Medicine in 1991 at the Johns Hopkins Asthma & Allergy Center, Baltimore, and later became Senior Resident and Lecturer at the University Dermatology Hospital in Leipzig, Germany.

His specialist interests include allergy and immunology, allergy diagnosis, allergens, IgE, new allergy treatments and allergen immunotherapy. He currently provides scientific/educational lectures, consults extramural institutions, competent authorities and industries, and has authored/co-authored over 130 peer-reviewed original publications and reviews, as well as over 25 book chapters and has edited four textbooks.

He has actively contributed to guidelines and engages in national and international allergy societies (including Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Allergologie und klinische Immunologie, European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and World Health Organization/International Union of Immunological Societies Allergen Nomenclature Sub-Committee). He holds an Honorary Professorship at the Charité Medical School and University Hospital, Berlin.
